Your engine fires each cylinder in a set sequence. Every time one cylinder fires, the crankshaft rotates a precise amount. P0302 means the computer detected a rotational irregularity that matches Cylinder 2 not completing its power stroke — the mixture was not burned, or was burned too weakly to move the piston properly.

The ECM counts misfire events over a rolling window of engine revolutions. Loss of power climbing hills
